Sound Oil, the Italian focused upstream oil and gas company, was notified on 14 December 2012 that on that day James Parsons, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, acquired on behalf of his SIPP 908,606 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 0.875p per share. Following this purchase, Mr Parsons holds 1,995,371 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.07% of the Company's issued share capital.
