Director's dealing

Sound Oil, the upstream oil and gas company with assets in Italy and Indonesia, was notified yesterday that Gerry Orbell, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, acquired 500,000 ordinary shares in the Company yesterday at a price of 2.24p per share (following this purchase, Mr Orbell and his family hold 12,748,418 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.79% of the Company's issued ordinary shares).  The Company will shortly enter a close period ahead of its interim results announcement which is expected to be released on 29 September 2011.
